Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival - Kabul
  • Pick up from Kabul International AirPort
  • Arrival, arrangement, and check in to the hotel
  • Visiting a tailor for making a local Afghani outfit (Optional )
  • Visiting the Old bird market with 100 years old, walking around the Mandavi Bazaar and talking to local people
  • Will have a short visit to the Shah do Shamshera Mosque, Ethnographic Research Museum - Flexible
  • Visiting one of the beautiful blue mosque in Kabul (Shrine of Sakhi), BiBi Mehro Hill (The Taliban Big white Flag)
  • Overnight in the hotel
Day 2: Kabul - Faizabad
  • Start our early morning trip to Faizabad, Badakhshan
  • It will be a full day driving, will cross the Salang pass one of Afghanistan’s high-altitude mountains through the Hindu Kush mountain range.
  • It takes a maximum 12-13 hours driving time
  • Overnight in the hotel
Day 3: Faizabad - Ishkashim
  • Will have a short city tour in Faizabad
  • Arranging the permission letter
  • Driving to Ishkashim
  • Arrival, arrangement another permission
  • Village tour and preparing for the Wakhan corridor adventure!
  • Overnight in the guesthouse
Day 4: Ishkashim - Sarhad Broghil
  • Continue our journey to Khandud,
  • Photography and talking to local people
  • Will enjoy from the stunning Badakhshan landscape
  • Arranging the permission letter in Khandud
  • Follow the road to the Qala e Panja Village
  • Arranging another permission letter!
  • Driving toward Sarhad Broghil, the last Wakhan corridor village
  • Overnight in the guesthouse
Day 5: Sarhad Broghil - Little Pamir
  • will have a local wakhi breakfast with Shor Chai, one of the famous and traditional Badakhshi drink
  • Talking to Wakhi people, exploring their daily lifestyle, enjoying from the beautiful nature of Sarhad
  • Continue our trip to the Pamir mountains
  • Our final destination, Chaqmaqtin lake
  • Overnight in the local Kyrgyz guesthouse/ camping
Day 6: Chaqmaqtin Lake
  • A full day adventure on the Roof of world, Pamir mountains
  • Visiting and talking with nomadic Kyrgyz people, exploring their daily lifestyle, photography and walking around the beautiful Chaqmaqtin lake
  • Overnight in the kyrgyz guesthouse/ camping near the lake
Day 7: Pamir - Sarhad Broghil
  • After an unforgettable memories from Pamir mountains and its hospitable nomadic Kyrgyz people, will drive back to Sarhad Baroghil
  • Planing based on the remain time!
  • Overnight in the guest house
Day 8: Sarhad - Khandud - Ishkashim
  • Start our day towards Khandud
  • Will enjoy from the landscape and talking with local people on the way
  • Continue our tour to Ishkashim
  • Overnight in the guesthouse
Day 9: Ishkashim - Faizabad
  • Will have a short visit to Ishkashim local bazaar and explore around the village
  • Driving to Faizabad
  • Rest!
  • Overnight in the hotel
Day 10: Faizabad - Kabul
  • Start our early morning trip to Kabul
  • It will be again a long driving day
  • Overnight in the hotel
Day 11: Kabul
  • Going to the Chicken street - handicrafts market and shopping (if interested)
  • Meeting the Old wooden box cameraman - Haji Mir Zaman and take your black and white photo!
  • Planing based on your interest!
  • Overnight in the hotel
Day 12: Departure
  • Drop off to the Kabul International AirPort (Your drop off will be arranged based on your departure flight time)
